I’ve installed a comment notification feature for the blog which allows you to receive responses to your comments by eMail if you wish. To enable just check the checkbox when you make a comment and make sure your email address is correct.
Note that naturally your email address will not be disclosed to anyone.
In any case, even if not using this feature please use the same eMail address when commenting to prevent me from having to re-approve your comments.

Kudos on the update.
I’ve added something like that into mine as well - check it out if you like.
I also modified it to already check the box by default.
You also might want to check out the Share It plugin, by Alex King. It’s a shaved-down version of the one you have.
